Whats in my beach bag!

Hiya! Yesterday, I went to the beach for a few hours, as the sun was shining and it was warm outside! I decided I'd blog about what I take to the beach! This is the stuff I take to the beach in England, because I take slightly different stuff to the beach on holiday.

(Sorry for the awful photo, as my camera was out of battery so its iPod quality and I took this in one shot as I was in a massive rush...)

First up, The bag I use as a beach bag is my cath kidston box bag, as its roomy and oilcloth so if it gets a little wet, it will be ok! I always take a towel, even if I'm not swimming, as its a good thing to lie on and its small!

I always take a big, oversized t-shirt, as I burn really easily and its just a thing you can pull on if your going to buy a ice cream or a drink, without fussing!

I take a pair of flip flops with me as I usually wear shoes like converse down to the beach, then put my flip flops on when I actually get there!

Sun cream is a must for me, so I pack my facial sunscreen, my body sunscreen and my hair sunscreen as I get a burnt scalp with is horrible, painful and rather gross...

I take a snack, like a banana as it wont melt like chocolate or a cereal bar! I also bring a small amount of money to buy a Mr Whippy and a drink!

My tangle teaser always comes with me as I find its the best hair brush for my long hair, especially when I've come out of the sea, and my hairs matted and so hard to brush, this makes light work of the tangles and leaves me with tangle-free hair, yipeeee!

A magazine and book are always in my bag, I love to read, and a magazine is easy to flick through. I'm loving company and teen vogue right now!

I take a small makeup bag, which holds my lip balm, hand cream and eye drops!

Cheep sunglasses always come with me, as I loose/break nearly all my shades :(

And last but not least, some knickers! I always wear my bikini/swimming cossie under my clothes on the way to the beach, but once I've been in the sea, and its time to leave and your cossie is not fully dry, its just much more comfortable to slip on some pants than walk home with a soggy bum!

Anyway... I had a great day at the beach, swam in the sea, which surprisingly wasn't too cold! Me and my sisters swam up to some rocks and relaxed on there for a while, got ice cream, and relaxed! I hope your all enjoying the summer!

Issy x
