Cheap mascara V Pricey masacara

Hiya! I am one of those people who love makeup, but find myself cash strapped, a lot of the time! So, I wanted to see if cheaper mascaras worked! For this post, I've used a mascara for £1.99 and one for £12.50. Sorry for the weird eye pics, but I wanted to show what the mascaras actually looked like!

First up, its the natural collection lash length mascara. I've been using this for years! It gives a subtle hint of colour, doesn't clump and gives my lashes a little volume. My only niggle with this product is the fact that the brush is a little big for my eyes, but I can work with it. Its not the best mascara if you want a more dramatic, defined and very black look, but its fine for everyday. The colour is black, but its not as black as some other mascaras, of you know what i mean! This is the cheaper one of the two, coming in at only £1.99, its fantastic if you want an everyday mascara!

Next, its the extreme length mascara from no7. I've been using this for a few weeks and I absolutely love it! It has a rubber wand, which I usually loathe, but this ones really good at getting every lash, without clumping them together! I find when I use this product my eyes look brighter and wider! The formula it's self doesn't smudge or smear during the day, which is great since no one wants panda eyes! The colour is very black, and keeps that way all day! It's quite expensive for a mascara that needs to be replaced every four months, but it's worth the money.

Comparing both products, I like the no 7 one better, for one reason. The fact that the product is very black! However, the cheap mascara is great and amazing value, and it's fab for everyday use! I would happily buy both products, but I do think its worth spending at bit more on mascara, as in the past I've tried some super, super cheap mascaras and they've been awful!
