Monthly favourites

Hiya! This month, I've tried out lots of new products and enjoyed many things, so I thought I'd pull all my monthly faves into one post! 

 

One of the first things I've been loving this month are Yankee candle tartlets. For me, they are a new discovery. I found my mums old wax tart burner from years ago, and wanted to use it, so I went to my local candle shop, and bought some tartlets! They smell great, there are so many different scents to choose from, and they are only about £1.50! I found them to be stronger than the sampler candles, and are much easier to control how much of the product you want to use! I've decided now, every month I will choose 1 or 2 tarts, depending one what type of the year it is! So around Christmas I'll buy 'christmas cookie' or 'cinnamon stick,' and in the summer ill get 'black coconut!' 

My next favourite is my tangle teezer! I've been using it so much this month, as I've been on holiday, gone swimming and to the beach! 

I've got long hair, and it brushs out any knots, or tangles with ease. It also reduces the amount of hair falling out, when I brush it! It's a bit more expensive than a regular paddle brush, but its well worth the money ! 

                                

I love this stuff! I've never used proper fake tan before, but this gives you a hint of colour, without streaking or anything like that! You apply it as a regular lotion, and let it dry before dressing. It develops over a few hours, leaving your skin with a heathy glow. When I first bought this, I applied it without prepping my skin, and it did look a bit uneven, but as long as you use a good scrub, then apply the lotion, it works out great! I use this on my legs, as this is the area, I want to gives it of colour to! 

 

Before the start of August, I'd only ever used liquid and khol eyeliner, and never delved into the world of pen,gel ect liners. However, whilst mooching around boots, I found this at the collection stand, and thought I'll give it ago, it's only £3. So I got it and messed around with it. It took me a while, to master the slick, flicked eye I wanted, but once I managed, I loved it. My regular liquid liner, is now at the back of my makeup drawer! It's so easy to apply, once you get the hang of it, and leaves you with a sleeker finish. 

The nib is like a standard felt tip, which is flexibile and gives you the control of how thick you want your line. For the price, it's a great product,that I'll definitely repurchase once I use up thin one! 

This favourite is not beauty related, but food related! I'm cereal obsessed. I eat way more than the norm! Granola and Cheerios are my weekness, however this stuff reaches the top five in issy's cereal chart! It's cruchy, moreish and makes the milk taste fabulous! Yes, these are coops copy of crunchy nut, but they are cheaper, so I bought these! 

This favourite is a bit weird as its been hot, but ive been loving vanilla chai tea! It's different from the bog standard tea, which I like! Ive been drinking it everyday, and I'm yet to get bored of it!

Swim deep - king city 

This song is summery and wonderful! I really like swim deep, and at the momment, this song is my favourite song on their debut album, where the heaven are we! 

James blake - our love comes back 

I'm absolutely in love with James Blake, his voice is so different and lovely! 

Lana del rey - young and beautiful 

Recently I've gone off Lana, because I really over listed to born to die. However,this track is different, and I've played it to death this month!
